He was a better pick than:
Ray Allen was taken No. 5 -- personally, I'd rather Ray Allen.
And then Steve Nash was buried toward the middle of the first round. Although Nash has turned out to be a better overall player, it goes without saying that taking him No. 1 would be a HUGE reach.
In short: I'd take Ray Allen*.

I don't know how AI and Stackhouse didn't get into a fight when they were playing with each other. Stackhouse would always have the 
face when AI would ignore him and just have him standing in the corner 
But, back to the subject, AI was the best fit imo Even though AI was selected to be a PG if I remember correctly, in hindsight they might have wanted to get Camby maybe? They had both Coleman and Weatherspoon, but Weatherspoon was a bit too short imo and would have been better suited to have him on the bench, I remember him being a really bad defender, so Camby might have been an ideal fit to have him with Coleman if he gave any fukks and with Stackhouse. 
but than the Sixers took Larry Hughes 2 years after even though they had AI already

They should have taken Kobe. They brought him in for a workout and he shytted on their current players. AI was a chucker that played no D and shot terribly from the field. Aside from 2001, his career is forgettable.
