The fact that people are in here talking about this song aged terribly is reason #1 why The Booth is becoming dumpster status. Say you think the song is wack and keep it moving. Saying it aged terribly because you need a reason to justify saying its wack is a cop out. This song is a classic song and this song will still have people moving long after we're going. Thread proves a lot of posters never left 1995.

Thank you God you mfs are not no A&Rs :russ:

yall would've f*cked up so many careers and made 50 into memph bleek status or something with the kind of logic yall have!

yall do know the club bangers we're the cheat codes back then to blowing up right?? The thing with 50 is that he was already buzzing, he was not gonna be a ONE HIT WONDER. Any hit song would've made his album sell but BECAUSE THIS SH*T WAS A BANGER for 2003, HE WAS OUTTA HERE! Diamond status to be exact! and then the fact that the album had the right street joints and everything else in the right place, it was just inevitable for him to blow.

Some of yall would've picked "heat" to be the first single and wonder why the album wouldn't do as good :snoop::russ:

"In da club" was the CAN'T MISS PICK like Lebron coming out that same year, you mfs say things just to say sh for daps and shock factor :francis:

You shall experience
The extreme wrath
Of an intellectual
One of a kind
Knoweth no bounds
Your soul shaketh

Fear me

My father was born in 1950. I was born 42 years after that (aging doesn't begin until you reach the age your parents were when they had you, this is telomeric science)
Anyway, he is an Italian man, pessimistic-skeptic by nature (think Tony Soprano's mom)

At 8 years old he took me to see the Up In Smoke Tour, to this day I've yet to see a better show

My father would take me out on hustles nightly, we'd hit the department stores in New England area, north of Boston - I had a collection of athletic apparel second to no other, as well as a huge collection of FUBU the 05 jerseys, and a lot of the city collection

He'd listen to my CDs with me which were mainly Dr. Dre production family tree and nothing else

Eventually I began reading 50 Cent's book 'From Pieces to Weight'

I'd relay pieces of the story to him

He'd tell me that 50 Cent was a Julliard trained actor

When I see this,

And think about it in combination with his fast tracking into the television production industry

It's hard to shake this image
