You had to be there in 03 to understand what this was. Everybody and I mean EVERYBODY, loved this song, North, West, East, and South. Nah yall trippin. In Da Club is far from being 50’s worst song. At the time? Nobody had heard anything like that before. 50’s lyrics were basic and elementary but the highlight of the song is the hook. I’ve heard stories that multiple rappers had that beat in their possession and couldn’t do shyt with it.

That song doesn’t become a hit without 50’s presence and performance. Yeah it did get overplayed but that shows the strength of how big that song was and still is.

Candy Shop was worst. There was some joints on Curtis and Animal Ambition that were bad.
