nikkas getting these basic ass lyrics wrong
I don't understand how people call that album a classic. I understand the impact, I was there, I copped it first week.. But that album is not classic.
Production aged horribly and there were so many skips
Only here u would hear someone say grodt isn't a classic. It's a top 5 rap album oatSame. I had just graduated from high school in ‘02 and joined the Marine Corp. Got to my unit in Jan ‘03. In da club was played EVERYWHERE. Man 50 and Em had shyt on lock from ‘02-‘05 ish. The movies and soundtracks plus the albums
But like you said GRODT is a very good project just not a classic. It’s a classic in the sense of “you had to be there” feeling. I remember being deployed and the album getting heavy play. Knew every word to every song.
I will say the first 8 tracks on the album are straight heat no skips; after that the album falls apart besides “Don’t push me” and “Wanksta” with the latter being a rerelease.
It's a top 5 rap album oat
I'm talking overall if someone didn't know anything about hip hop it's a album u would recommendThat's a bit too far.
The only song it’s better than is Ayo TechnologyWorst? Absolutely not,
Nowhere near his best despite being his most popular record though.
The fact that people are in here talking about this song aged terribly is reason #1 why The Booth is becoming dumpster status. Say you think the song is wack and keep it moving. Saying it aged terribly because you need a reason to justify saying its wack is a cop out. This song is a classic song and this song will still have people moving long after we're going. Thread proves a lot of posters never left 1995.
Better than your favoriteThis all inadvertantly proves 50 is a wack emcee..
