He won’t win so we won’t have to worry about that. Let's begin to move on from Trump and focus on the next chapter after November 5th.
Y'all keep saying that but look what happened in 2016. Hillary Clinton was one of the most qualified(politically) candidates in decades and she still lost to a con man. :francis: No way Trump should still be in the race like this and nearly neck and neck in battleground states after January 6th, the conviction, etc. :dahell:

Not anti or pro thread, just sayin if Kamala wins things go back to normal but what should we do if the worst happens(trump, project 2025, etc...)? How do we survive or thrive in the new environment?

The worst thing that could happen is another justice biting the dust and we get another conservative supreme court justice. That will have more impact than whatever policy Trump will try to push.
you uneducated c00ns really have no idea what’s in store if trump wins. take some time and read (you can do that, right?) project 2025.

the least of your concerns is the supreme court, since it’s all but laid the foundation - since roberts assumed the role of chief justice - for trump and a compliant gop to stream roll what little remains of your rights.

with the narrowed interpretation of the commerce clause, the gop has spent the past decade chipping away at every protection that shielded the public from a gilded elite (read: wealthy white supremacist men) assuming total domination of our society.

do you know any black people who work in the government?

if trump wins, they are up outta here.

do you have any black family members that depend upon medicaid and social security?

oops. that’s gone.

do you have children? nieces or nephews? what little value brown vs board bestowed upon the educational opportunities of black children will be erased.

black history? never heard of it.

businesses? economically starved.

black neighborhoods? patrolled by the military.

they will target the black community with a version of nazi germany’s nuremberg laws.

trump won’t win.

but, in the event he did, this is what would have happened.

Im surprised to see some nikkas really think it'll just be business as usual

After he gives cops 100% immunity so that Derek chauvin types can kill as many blacks as they want with no chance for any repercussions?

Thomas and Alito say they wanna retire and be replaced with much younger and probably even more extreme MAGA judges for the Supreme court giving them supermajority?

This aint 2016. the level of planning involved is on another level this time around.
I mean these cops pretty much have immunity anyways. Most of these cops kill us and either get off completely or get fired but get a job somewhere else. A few like Chauvin might do some time but it's not the norm.

I agree with you on everything else but cops are some of the most protected people in this country.

you understand biden won in 2020? so, if she is currently polling ahead of him, i’d say her chances are a fair bit better than how you’ve painted things.
At the end of the day, it's the electoral college who decides. My initial point was simple. People really aren't voting for Harris, they are voting against Trump. That's the similarities I was referring to.

this argument might have been applicable to biden in 2020, but it doesn’t fly with harris. people genuinely like her and walz.

look at her current favorability ratings. look at walz’. a lot of people like this ticket.

she rarely centers her stump speech around trump, unlike hillary and biden, focusing on how her policies will improve the lives of voters.

it feels as if you haven’t been following the campaign and are instead projecting your own misgivings on her without taking an honest appraisal of where she is.

Respectfully we have two different perspectives. I'm seeing someone I'm more than likely going to vote for who was handed a nomination she didn't compete in. Also, you are correct. I haven't been following it closely. I do know her policy is based on past talking points and she isn't saying much outside of that. :yeshrug:
