Nah. New Spidey is actually a teen. He’s actually a smart mouthed nerd and not a whiny adult. Iron Spider suit with expressive eyes is killing the Ray-Ban eye suit.

I think Tobey McGuire was the best Peter Parker but just an okay Spiderman with that being said he was the only one with the emotional gravitas to pull off Spiderman 2.
I personally hated Andrew Garfield. I thought he was the best Spiderman but I thought he was god awful as Peter Parker.
I think Tom Holland is basically playing Ultimate Spiderman. In that sense. I have to judge his character a little differently. He is supposed to be kind of annoying because his character is still a fukking kid. He's still growing into being a superhero so he is going to stumble and make mistakes. That is part of the reason why the Avengers (Tony Starks) tutelage is so important because it puts him on the fast track to harness his better qualities and give him practical advice. I thought Holland did a very good job in his own right because if either of the two other actors try to be this version of Spidey with as weak a villian as their rendition of the Vulture was the movie would have been an utter disaster.

Naw Tom is the best at being both Spider-Man and peter Parker.
The others were just good at being one of the two but I feel like Tom is great at capturing the essence of both SM and PP.

I didn't see the The Amazing Spiderman movies(heard they're trash).
But Toby and the new kid are good in their own way. Although the latter is more reflective of the Peter Parker in the cartoons and comics.

The new cac embodies Spiderman more than the old cac but the new Spiderman movie (outside of Michael Keaton) was softer and the casting was all the way fukked up
