Its blatant as fukk he is.

Its funny how people on this site will jump to accusation on Yachty, young thugs, etc r plants and make a big deal of it

But Chance is a plant that is getting pushed to awards and stuff like this show it. Much farther pushing than the former.

I guess nikkas r so desperate that they'll tolerate Chance and his BS and what surrounds him cause he aint making Trap/drill music

So you'd have less of a problem with Chance if he was making trap/drill music? :jbhmm:

Dont put words in my mouth u no comprehension skill ass nikka.

Im sayin yall nikkas r spouting this "Who cares if he plant" shyt only cause he aint a drill nikka.

But if he was doing under the subgenres as mentioned or mumble rap yall wouldnt be so okay with his fake ass indie gimmick/industry push.

Yup. I left Interscope shortly before Acid Rap came out. The most amazing thing about it is the unwritten, unsaid agreement Interscope has with multiple sites, publications, and artists not to say shyt about it. You're never going to see some "investigative" piece detailing his ties to various MAJOR players and Interscope's involvement. Hell from what I've heard back when Chance kinda took a shot at Kendrick's verse on NMPILA, label folks asked Cornrow Kenny not to sneak diss about it. Kendrick knows, hell they're on the same label.
:mjlol:

For the record I have no beef with Chance. I really liked Acid Rap and Coloring Book is cool (not in my top 10 tho lmao). He has built a solid fanbase and is a good dude. My prob is moreso the bullshyt that surrounds him and how it's peddled by the media. Best believe that if he wins a Grammy he's going to give a little speech about being independent while men in suits chuckle and clap.

He didn't name names but it was on his Twitter. After the song came out he tweeted something like "that was weak." It wasn't a diss IMO, it was him being honest and striving for greatness. I'm a Kendrick stan but while his verse starts cool it ultimately is too long and just doesn't fit the album or song. Just...aimless and not what you'd expect.

Chances was courted by TDE but never signed. I don't think there's real tension there, Chance has dapped Kendrick before. But Chance is also trying to make the case that he's one of the biggest rappers and he's very competitive.
