10 outta 10 for both verses...but I’d give it to AZ for that flow and the multis.

AZ got verse of the month or whatever from the Source for his verse, back when the Source was still basically the hip hop bible. Lot of people thought that he took Nas on the track.

i wouldnt say clearly, both complemented each other perfectly but which verse i prefer flip flops constantly.

AZ's verse starts out so strong though that a lot of people probably end up getting drawn to his verse, and I think he had a better mic presence and flow than Nas did, though Nas may have out rhymed him

Could we just agree this is a perfect song?

The "Yearning for Your Love" sample :wow:

The intro with both guys just talking casual while counting their money, not even trying to warn us about what's going to happen. :wow:

AZ's verse, which probably has the GOAT opening line in rap history. :wow:

The instantly memorable hook, with AZ's pain being felt through the speakers. :wow:

Nas' verse, full of quotables and a razor sharp flow.:wow:

Nas' father closing things out with his cornet solo. :wow:

This song makes you think about the best day you never had. :wow:
