Aligning yourself with a less popular or smaller religious notion doesn't mean you're any less religion. They're just making up their own religion as they go on.
When you start talking about "higher power" and making assertions, then YES your statements can be tested and validated.
to me it means i have a relationship with god but i dont follow organized religion.
Same with meI used to tell people that when I was around 12-13 because I didn't want to admit being an atheist out loud and having people trying to save me . Basically, I hated going to church, so I made up bs about having a spiritual relationship with the "lawd"
Spirituality, to me, is interrelated to religion and non-religion whatsoever. I don't believe in an physical manifestation of a "spirit" or soul or anything like that.
