Umm, no. It just means they don't ascribe to an existing religion, but feel the presence of a higher power.

You don't wanna do this.

...cause you won't win.

Aligning yourself with a less popular or smaller religious notion doesn't mean you're any less religion. They're just making up their own religion as they go on.

When you start talking about "higher power" and making assertions, then YES your statements can be tested and validated.

Out here in my damn drawls
:russ:I used to tell people that when I was around 12-13 because I didn't want to admit being an atheist out loud and having people trying to save me . Basically, I hated going to church, so I made up bs about having a spiritual relationship with the "lawd" :lawd:

Spirituality, to me, is interrelated to religion and non-religion whatsoever. I don't believe in an physical manifestation of a "spirit" or soul or anything like that. When I hear spiritual I think about in terms of consciousness, energy in the body and nature, the universe and all that other groovy shyt :blessed:

:what: the eff are you talking about? I don't wanna do what?

What I said had nothing to do with god of the gaps. What you're saying has nothing to do with what I was saying.

In fact, :wtf: are you even talking about? Assertions? Validation? Breh, switch to decaf.

It means you are more of a casual follower of a religious principle than a hardcore follower
think of it like a political moderate

That's me. I think organized religion is bullshyt but I have my own spirituality that is not associated with any religion. You must be one of those types that thinks that someone who isn't Chrsitian is automatically atheist as if you have to be Christian or even follow a specific religion to believe in God, aren't you?

So why don't they create their own religion?

I do not know. I would imagine because they feel they don't need it. Or maybe cause it's a lot of work. Or because they'd feel like they're duping people. Who knows. :manny:
