I'm sorry but has there actually been a worse president than Trump?

Trump is UNDISPUTED worst President of all time and I will stand by this until I'm old & completely grey. Trump makes Bush Jr. look like a fukking saint and he did/let A LOT of fukked up shyt in his tenure as Pres from 2000-2008.

After Trump walks out that door on January 20th, I'm convinced that a lot of changes will be made in the years to come to ensure that us, the American People will have to endure madness like we witnessed from Trump's 2017-2021 term.

One thing is certain Trump attempting to make a 2024 run is FINISHED! after the chaos he created yesterday.

I'd say bottom 5: Trump, Hoover, Nixon, Harding, Buchanan. In no particular order.
I’m always hesitant to put Nixon in these lists. He was a terrible person, but he was still a competent president.
Yeah, I was gonna say this. Outside of Vietnam (which JFK and LBJ have on their heads too) Nixon was low-key a decent president outside of being a control freak and a criminal. Basically as if Obama ran his internal affairs like Trump but kept all his own public policies lol.

Same with Harding - his policies were actually really good for the era, he was far more pro-Black and anti-imperial than, say, Woodrow Wilson before him. His only fault was that his administration was full of corruption.

My absolute worst are:

Jackson for committing genocide against the Native Americans and opposing abolition

Buchanan for supporting the Dred Scott decision, allying with Southern slavers and helping instigate the Civil War

Johnson for representing the racist traitors who had just tried to destroy the union rather than the black freedmen who had fought for it

Hoover for putting a bunch of rich people in charge, not being ready for the crash, and not helping folk out in the Depression

Bush Jr. for uselessly invading two countries, destroying public education, massive tax cuts for the rich, and Katrina

Trump for every damn day of his life

Reagan gets honorable mention for Reaganomics, union busting, two recessions, Afghanistan and Iran-Contra. He legit might have done the most long-term damage of anyone considering his role in fukking up our economy and helping create all our 21st-century conflicts. His only positive is that at least he could compromise on some shyt once in a while.

That's fair, but in Harding's case its more of a measure of a leader thing (if everyone around you is corrupt, then you are either corrupt or inept and neither are forgivable.).
Jackson would go in mine as well if not for Nixon being so recent and a presidential anomaly. Bush Jr. is an honorable mention, but we didn't see the fabric of America deteriorate. And the housing crash was Wall Street's fault more than his. However, 100% spot on for the wars and No Child Left Behind.

Trump and Regan are neck and neck for me. What happened the other day gives Trump the slight edge. I had Reagan ahead before that.

It's been surreal seeing how George W has been able to have his image repaired by virtue of Trump being president not even 10 years after he left office.

I've never seen so many people get nostalgic about the W Bush era. When W was president it felt like things were awful. And in many ways they were. A lot of people don't remember that there was even gossip as to whether or not Obama would bring him up on charges for war crimes in 2008/2009.

Man, times have changed.

I've always found is fascinating that Andrew Jackson is one of the worst presidents of all time, and by all accounts was a detestable person, and yet he's on the most common type of dollar bill in the U.S. after the $1.

On Harding I don't penalize him that much cause I assume 3/4 of politicians are corrupt off the cuff. Not every single one, but most of them. His appointees just got caught. Maybe his administration was more corrupt than average but I have no illusions that it was some unique shyt.

I don't blame Bush for the crash any more than the rest of DC. But he came into office with the economy roaring and could have used that to improve people's lives, instead he used it to enrich the wealthy even further so the rest of America was fukked when the recession hit.

Jackson was an okay president if you think the Black and Brown experience is completely irrelevant. Even academics and history books treated him well until post-CRM era. It was solely on some "What's good for the White man is what primarily matters" shyt.

The funny thing about Jackson is how he's on the $20 even though he hated central banks. Get rid of him, put Hamilton on the $20, and give Tubman the $10.

Honestly, I feel really weird about someone like Harriet or Frederick, who could be bought and sold for that same currency, to suddenly be on it. Maybe it’s just me but that shyt just feels so weird. Like I don’t want Black people to be on such a cacish symbol.

Jackson definitely needs to be out tho. If Washington wasn’t such an integral character in America’s history I’d say him too.
