Politics are about time and place. Different issues matter at different times. This election is a referendum on Donald Trump. By virtue of that, who is going to be the most readily accepted person by large groups of people to have enough voters to vote for him/her. We realized early on that person would be Joe Biden. That one fact totally overshadows UBI, ACA, immigration, etc. Donald Trump had to go. Full stop. We need to stop the bullshyt now, sort out a few major things then worry about the comeback. The goal now is to stave off what we can salvage so there is a dream deferred for a lot of things but again, time and place. Trump has done more damage to America than any adversary ever has. The president of the United States is an enemy of the United States. Do you understand how wild it is to type that out? That's why he needs to go. Trump lost the popular vote badly, I think people forget about that fact a lot. Hillary lost due to political incompetence, complacency, racism and apathy. Trump never had the majority of America on his side.

While they are relatively the same in many issues Obama isn't nearly as corrupt as Hillary/Bill are. He seemed to be smart enough to wait and know the $ will come eventually and he can do it legally and you see he's cakng now.

I think the policy angle was more about new voters not joining in after she picked up some more liberal positions. In my canvassing it was common to hear folks say they didn't believe she would follow through and she was just merely pandering for votes.
