and yeah i went to a club in varadero and walked back to teh resort drunk at like 3am, only taxis stopped me asking if i wanted a ride, many other places iw ould have been in a ditch
puerto plata is more boring to me than punta cana
nicest place i been to, weather is great (extra humid during summer months though) its actually cheap as fuk , they use the american $$$ so don't have to deal with currency issue a lot of English speakers there too

, you can hit up panama city for the usual clubbing/gambling/whoring fukery and then you can also hit up the country side resorts for a more calm experiencesi have fam who moved from D.R to panama so i dont pay for hotels , i do like overnight hotel stays if i been partying too hard though
panama is semi americanized but still has that south america/ Carribean feel too it and with the right hustle mostly anyone can live there. My sister is moving out there in a couple of months, going to teach english
Safety wise like i said i been there like 6 times , have never had an issue , but again i use a mix of come sense and smarts
let me know when u want to go my cousin works in the tourism sector out there i can recommend resorts and hotels
