I have two HS age nephews and been around their peers. There is nothing more than seeing disrespectful, tactless teenagers towards adults. Like it legitimately makes my blood boil. And someone like Ant going viral for this will just make it worse

But… I’m not ADOS. We tend to be a bit more deferential to elders.

Glad you used this example. Bc thats deference. To an exaggerate extent, but that’s what it is. It is not the same thing as ‘respect’. If I were to say Asians are more deferential to elders/authority, everyone gets that and no one would bat an eye.

So if people took it as ‘he sayin we don’t respect our elders!‘ well that’s a personal problem I can’t help you. I meant exactly what I said.
