Outside of his work in Africa (from what i know about it), there is nothing good about Bush's presidency. It was okay super early..his response to 9/11 in terms of managing the emotions of the country and going to ground zero were ok-good but as soon as we went to iraq everything went out the window. Pure trash
even at the same time he was pulling shyt like the patriot act, starting to torture people in afghanistan and gitmo. granted the american political establishment and media in general is also responsible for not challenging these things.
bush's biggest accomplishment was, like you said, health initiatives in Africa especially related to HIV. even that had problems though, like the use of money in PEPFAR programs toward abstinence-only education that was not effective.
