I’m legit confused as to why I keep seeing George W Bush’s name mentioned in a positive manner

How are you counting millions? Honestly asking.

I've seen a figure that said 200,000 Iraqi civilians died during our occupation (and yes that is fukked up)
:rudy:Im sure you believe the black american lynchings number too

:rudy:Im sure all those blackwater black ops teams reported all their kill numbers when they filed their taxes

Excellent comment, is Trump more crass and offensive than Bush? No doubt but I cannot fathom how any recent president can top the invasion of Iraq. The ramifications of that war will be felt for the rest of this century.

Trump is a terrible president, no need to whitewash Bush to illustrate that point.

I mean true but Trump has alot of blood on his hands too with the lack of corona response and emboldening racists who commit hate crimes

:jbhmm:Interesting post. I guess the whole rose tinted glasses appeal buries these affairs that Bush did during his presidency. Looking back at the two terms, dude had a big machine for him. Hence why most of his policies like what you stated and No Child Left Behind was on the back burner compared to War on Iraq and Katrina being the biggest elephant in the room. You also got to consider that Bush Jr played it safe and moved smarter. He didn't piss off his media outlets (right wing propoganda like Fox News and etc) along with keeping his cabinet in tact. Meanwhile, Trump pissing off everything but his moronic ass followers and being sloppy with his cabinet. Hence why it looks like Trump being the WOAT (which he really is) versus Bush Jr being on the whole "he's alright with me" type of appeal.

Have Bush Jr been coked up like the glory college days and move like Trump during the 2000s, Obama would be a fukking king. We wouldn't have terms anymore :heh:
Bush Jr was constantly putting his foot in his mouth and being ragged on by media outlets

44 bricks...acre shaker
He didn’t have to do it actively. 9/11 happened and then all of a sudden we went to war in two middle eastern countries to fight the Taliban and find WMD that didnt exist
:dead:

I think people forget that things for Arabs were not looking good as a result. To this day the country as a whole has an irrational hate for Muslims that didn’t exist before. There was always prejudice against them but this took it to another level
bush did what tchalla didnt do...defend his daddy...

bush didnt let his cousin come in n handle the threat to his pops...:russ:

You could've just posted a source for your millions instead of getting all types of sassy with it.

Bush was worse...people have short memories. HOWEVER...Trump managed to slightly skirt past shyt that should've been major and if Covid19 is prolonged along with the inevitable recession, he will be worse.

Trump's problem is he's like a drunk driver...he has no idea wtf nor his team know wtf they're doing. Bush managed to at least have some competent people around him.

Bush was actually a politician. A shyt one, but a politician regardless.

Trump is a scammed businessman who just got a job as a politician.

Huge difference.

While Bush Jr was a imbecile and failed the country during 9/11 and Katrina, the country still managed to go about it's daily routine thus the people surrounding his cabinet actually had a fukking clue on what to do because they were politicians. Lets just say that dude would had a better system laid out for the rona, instead of throwing the fukking paperwork to the side to play goddamn golf:hhh::francis:

Bush was a clown and a crook. Even rhen he was still better than that shyt for brains we got in Trump.

Also the difference between Bush and Trump is that bush didn't assume he was the smartest kat in the building. Bish actually understood his weaknesses and surrounded himself with intelligent people.

Trump literally has unqualified friends, families and buddies in major positions.

Can you imagine the shyt show if 9/11 happended on Trump watch..:mjlol:. Trump would been pointing fingers talking about this Bill Clintons fault and would put his sons and son in law in charge.

One more thing Bush acted like a president. Look as people even if they crooked we like them to act like they at least got some manner and are respectful. Trump out here calling folks names, calling people fat and ugly, talking about handicap folks, telling people they dumb and all types of disrespectful shyt. I mean look at this dudes press conferences. And it ain't just americans saying this. I know folks in china, india, europe and mexico who I use to work with. Even these folks be be chatting with me on wechat and whatsapp..saying Bush was bad, but at least he had some tact. This fool in Trump has no tact at all.

I thought the Bush presidency would scare the public from voting in someone who is not deemed intelligent enough to hold office. And lo and behold we got Trump. But lets not act like Ronald Reagan and George W didn't lay the grou dwork for a Trump character to successfully take on the presidency. Sarah Palin inexpierenced and incompetent self was a choice to become VP.
