Clipps have to develop guys now with hardly any draft capital and the new CBA kicking in. Just want to see them build something -at least partially build something with "big names"-for once instead of just chasing washed often injured stars all the time. The crazy thing is all throughout the Lob City era they were dying for a wing player to help the core. Brandon Boston and Diabate would've been a godsend to those teams. Now in 2024 we can let those guys go and pick up/draft Jordan Miller, Kai Jones, KPJ, Cam Christie, Trentyn Flowers, etc. This was unthinkable 5-6 years ago where the only way to get a young player was through the draft. Now we got the draft, internationals coming over, G League, teams with tons of picks but no roster spots available, etc. We're going to need a good young point guard next. You’re a youth movement guy and typically I don’t see what you’re pushing for
This kid however is an athlete with size, strength & agility. He should get looks where they can fit him in.
