I can't remember the exact quote but Lue acknowledged how much he played Harden; something about feeling the game slipping away without him.
Problem is we got a back to back Tuesday & Wednesday. I expect Bones to get a look as Harden can't play 40 minutes a night.

Isn't Bones terrible on defense
Yeah I think they're looking to move him eventually. He's in the Lue doghouse dungeon at this point of his career. I keep saying he should've hit the weight room a put some muscle and pounds on his frame but whatever. Like to see him get one more shot though. Can't risk an injury to Harden by playing him the entire 2nd half/40 minutes.

We might have another one on deck. Only 19 years old, 6'9" can run the point and jump out of the gym. Stay tuned! :lupe:

He's looked good. If he's going to get a shot with the main team he needs to be embarrassing his opponents every night. The barrier to entry for him is going to be greater than Millers imo. Because Lue had to be dragged to that kicking and screaming. Also if he's not playing defense he has zero chance. But I'm rooting for him.

Unless there's a string of injuries, he's projected for next season on the main team. Nothing against Miller who I'm also rooting for, but a kid that's only 19 at nearly 6'10" with handles and athleticism is a dream come true and will be moved up quickly next season if he keeps progressing and turns out to be the real deal. Miller at 24 years old is a four year college player which is unfortunately looked down upon by NBA scouts, coaches, and front offices these days. Plus he's a 2nd round pick and that's a much harder route to take. Dalton Knecht was passed up by 16 teams because he's 23 years old and was a 4 year college player. Flowers was supposed to go to Louisville and was projected to be a lottery pick until he ditched those plans to play in Australia. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, unless he defends he's not getting a shot this year or the next. Him being a 6'9 or 6'10 chucker is preferable to previous versions we've had with Boston and bones. Hope you're right about him getting a callup. If he can handle the ball without turning it over he'd be a great help on this team.

This team is becoming something and hella fun to watch. Gritty, hungry, hustlers. Harden might creep into MVP talks if he keeps this up and we keep winning games. Norm is on fire. Him and Harden are turning into a nasty backcourt. In a do-over Cam Christie get the two-way deal and Jordan Miller gets the standard NBA contract. Hate to say that he makes KPJ expendable, but low key he does. Coffey was on fire and DJJ was killing it. Dunn and Zu solid. Beat Minny tomorrow and I might get reckless with some hot takes :whoo:

Mann, Bones, and Kai only players with negative plus-minus.

Mann and KPJ being out is going to free up some playing time; Think well get some Kobe minutes and hopefully more from Miller. Bones might even get some run.
