PUT IN WORK
The East
Like most people mentioned, mostly waterfront stuff. Georgetown, National Harbor, The Wharf. Hit up Old Town Alexandria if you're looking for easier parking and less traffic. Jones Point park is pretty dope for photos.
I will say check out The Wharf
National Harbor is worth checking out. The Gaylord hotel has an ice skating rink and stuff. The MGM casino is also right there
Old town Alexandria is more shopping and restaurants
the Wharf, georgetown, navy yards, fashion centre/chinatown
did you guys got to the white house? buy tickets to the hop on/off bus.
you are not going to have that at the Wharf...they still have a few vendors that sell steam crab legs and shrimp...Now we’re talking. Recommend me a seafood spot mid to high end. Who makes the best clam chowder or gumbo there?
We did Old Town last night…
This spot was exquisite.
The seafood here is . Where can I get some good clam chowder and gumbo on the wharf?
Should I bring cash and wear an SD hat so they know I’m from out of town?Go to U street at 11 pm and post up.
Philippe Chow is good. You're need to go further north (New England area) for some good clam chowder. Now we’re talking. Recommend me a seafood spot mid to high end. Who makes the best clam chowder or gumbo there?
Good looking out. There's something for the whole family at the National Harbor. Tyson's Corner Mall or Pentagon City are worth checking out if you're in VA. There's also some good nightlife on U Street in DC.
Make sure you hit Horace & dikkie's and then Ben's Chili Bowl (for the history, not the food) & take a ride on the Metro.

I'm cooking gumbo tomorrow for the college football games. I would say pull up
You can walk straight to the falls viewpoints from the parking lot. It’s paved too.My wife’s feet are killing her. She didn’t know we were gonna walk THAT much and wore some new boots.
Hiking definitely isn’t happening.
