I’m in the DMV… Besides Monuments and Museums, what should I see or do?

Been here for a couple of days and saw the monuments yesterday and had dinner at a member’s only restaurant (never knew such a thing existed outside of country clubs honestly) and I’ll be here for a couple more days.

We walked 4 miles around DC yesterday and I’ll do the African American History Museum next time because my kids have gone a couple of times already and told me it’s s whole day thing.

Going to a party and a club tonight, but Monday and Tuesday are open. Any recommendations on things to see or do with my wife while here?

When I went there was this guy on the sidewalk furthest from the outside of museum kinda tall skinny with a cap selling em.

They usually have vendors right there on that block. Even if you don’t go in the museum go get that pie

Great Falls Park isn’t far from DC.

My wife’s feet are killing her. She didn’t know we were gonna walk THAT much and wore some new boots.

National Harbor is worth checking out. The Gaylord hotel has an ice skating rink and stuff. The MGM casino is also right there


Old town Alexandria is more shopping and restaurants
