Naw, I live in Dekalb, these immigrants act like they better than you simply because of the fact that they was immigrants.
I dealt with Dekalb jail in the early 2000s, it su ked then, I imagine it's worse now.

Service industry jobs in hospitality are regular immigrant jobs. Every major city, those will tend to be the people working those jobs. Countries or regions of origin might be different.
ATL is where lot of Florida Caribbean Americans have moved to. They established communities, and when their relatives get visas to come here, those are jobs they apply for.
Sounds like the opinions of someone who has little experiences with immigrants

I've been in the service industry since the 90s. I got enough experience.
Have I been in these ppl houses, f no.
But I've worked with them enough.
White ppl treat me bad, immigrants treat me bad, you happy now.
When it's all said and done, I'd rather be stuck in a closet for hours.
What you have to understand, and understand fully.
If you are low classed, and do not conduct yourself well.
Those who try to educate themselves, live proper, speak well etc
They will look down on you

Or do you conduct yourself in a respectable fashion
For example I might go on the street with old shoes or clothes I was gardening with, and also smell like weed.
I am fully aware certain folks look down on me.
And I have no issue with that.

Don't smoke weed, clothes ain't the greatest but they clean. I go to work not a fashion show. I'm not here to be anybody servant.

When slavery was abolished in the caribbean and america, A LOT of ex slaves decided they would never work fields or "serve" anyone again.
Many of them hung out, drank, smoked, partied etc
An act I totally understand, and might have done myself.
Reality though, if you are a boss or have a business.
If your employees had that same thinking, you would "look down on them"
TRUTH is though. Any game of sports or life. Those who win want it the most.
An African guy once told me that Caribbean people are not driven enough.
I worked for him and was offended, yet it was the truth, about me specifically.
He had 3 businesses.
I was doing the job just to get paid and cared nothing about it.
