This old southern states are still deeply ingrained with racism and stereotypes, the classic good ol boy culture is still pervasive in their communities. If you are upper class you can limit those negative experiences for sure but not fully as you still have to interact with people. it has a low state income tax and is generally friendly to business and corporations than the states in the new england and other left leaning areasThanks for that I want to hear everything about the state. What about upper middle class blacks though? I’m not an Uncle Tom but I do well financially. How’s the relationship between us and the police? I want to hear everything. I won’t be living in the hood. How will neighbors handle a brother that can live in a well to do neighborhood?
But a lot of brothers is fooled cuz white women sleeping with them right? They thinking things have changed right? See I’m the intelligent negro that they don’t like I’m always making white dudes feel inferior on the job and such. I cant Uncle Tom either I’m the type that move next door to a white person and blast this while cleaning in my yard. This old southern states are still deeply ingrained with racism and stereotypes, the classic good ol boy culture is still pervasive in their communities. Lafayette, LA was voted the happiest place in the country not long ago for a reason. It’s a college town with a family oriented community.
Check out Duson, Maurice, Carencro, and Scott. All are around Lafayette and are developing.
