Compared to Port City, BR, and NO?? Laffy is paradise from what I seen. But Imma NW LA breh. I know it's beaucoup safer than all the major cities in da boot tho

That nikka @Stuntone don’t know what he talking about. :mjlol:

Lafayette, LA was voted the happiest place in the country not long ago for a reason. It’s a college town with a family oriented community.

Naw I’m a low key dude that get money. I’m not even flashy. What about property? I’m going to purchase something probably. I don’t rent:birdman:

Check out Duson, Maurice, Carencro, and Scott. All are around Lafayette and are developing.

I currently been employed with the same company for 15 years. I own property considering transferring to Lafayette. Im going to purchase another house there. I want to live somewhere warm, good food, and bad women.
its not bad but youngsville or lake Charles may be better. if you like em thick and light skinned then this be the area. Food is good, crawfish season is good but the roads are terrible.

Too many brehs who switch when they walk.

Light in the loafers.

Sugar in the gas tank.

Make Atlanta look like a damn Al-Qaeda compound.

This right here is a breh who thinks of New Orleans when he thinks of Louisiana. Which is understandable. That ain’t the case though. Nola moves different than the rest of LA.

As much as I been to NO, I have yet to meet beaucoup gay folk. Only met like a few and it was far as wide.

I'm my experience DC and Baltimore are beaucoup gayer in comparison.

I lived there for a year.

Weather is great, except for some humidity in summer for a few month. Hurricanes/flooding but doesn't get hit as bad as other parts of Louisiana.

Food is cool. Obviously, they get busy with Louisiana style cooking. Not lot of diversity, but for a metro of half a million you'll do ok.

Women. When they are bad jawns they are top notch, especially with the Creoles in population. Dark skin beauties too. Opelousas to me is the home of the baddest jawns in Louisiana, and lot of them move to Lafayette. Lots of red head white women. UL Lafayette has young educated women. Not alot of diversity in women department. Overall decent mid jawns.

What you didn't mention was two hour drive to New Orleans (Baton Rouge is 1 hour) and 3 hour drive to Houston. So you want some big metro activities, food, women, opportunity it's not far.

Enjoy.
i live in BR...

you pretty much covered everything i wouldve added

Lafayette is a cool city, based on your priorities you will probably enjoy living there. Women and food will both be abundant.

Get smart on flood insurance if you're thinking of buying property, it may be something you aren't used to depending on where you are coming from.

I don't know anyone who lives in Lafayette that doesn't like the city, I have had many good nights there.
