I'm beginning to think that both teams lost in the NYC/Minnesota trade

Knick fans be talking about Mitchell Robinson like he a prime Hakeem Olajuwon. Thibs gonna run his starters in the mud before the playoffs even start they gonna be playing on fumes.
The amount of times he's mentioned in here as the excuse as to why they keep getting exposed had me checking his stats thinking I was missing something :dead:

Knicks won the trade, but they are definitely showing fatigue right now even in their recent wins (Bulls, Hawks, Raptors). They need a bench BADLY.

Imagine your hopes and dreams relying on Mitchell Robinson. Breh would get ran off the floor attempting to chase Allen & Mobley around the court :mjlol:

Our offense is ELITE and the bigs don’t clog the paint anymore

How is this still up for debate? What even is or ever was Julius Randle?

Wolves been lost since the first five games lol.

KAT has been playing in the paint a lot more while still shooting 43% beyond the arc, probably the best he has looked in his career.

Randle still can't shoot worth a damn, doesn't play defense, and his effort is trash.

Wolves are 7th in the West where outside of OKC, teams aren't really elite.

Towns/Randle trade was a win for the Knicks. Problem is, it made them really good, not great with no other big moves to make. This is the core of the team they’re stuck with for the next few seasons - They’re not on the level of the Celtics or Cavs, which means they’ll have to rely on luck(injury, random variance on 3 pointers) to make it out of the East and to the finals. Hope isn’t a strategy.

In addition, relying on Mitchell Robinson in any capacity is a fools errand. He has zero ability to stay healthy.

They couldn't re-sign Hartenstein, they didn't let him walk. Once he was gone they had to pivot to find a center. They're fine. They had their best record in decades going into the break. They need to replenish the bench in the off-season. Defense will be much improved when mitch comes back.
What happens when he inevitably ends up being hurt again? I'm legitimately curious mind you. This "once Mitch gets back" narrative hasn't gotten old yet?
