I'm beginning to think that both teams lost in the NYC/Minnesota trade

Minnesota lost the trade clearly this is the Knicks best start in decades.

It’s important to note that the Knicks have been without Mitchell Robinson all year. A guy who tips playoff series with his offensive rebounding and defensive presence.

Ask Jarrett Allen why the lights were too bright. :sas2:

Brunson is another guy that gives Mitchell nightmares. I respect the Cavs and probably fear them more than the average Knicks fan. Most Knicks fans are comfortable with that matchup come playoff time.

OKC and Boston is another story
Ya'll are running on a treadmill getting nowhere. Continue to ignore that reality at your future peril as a Knicks fan. Cavs and C's are built for longevity. This is my point

Cavs aren't even 12 months removed from an offseason where they navigated an existential crisis and their fans wanted pieces flipped and shipped, now they're built for longevity :russ:

We know what's gonna happen in April/May, Mitch and Hart are gonna dogwalk the double bigs, Spida's gonna get outclassed by Brunson, and Garland's gonna end up on a milk carton.

This is fan fiction at it's most glazing levels and I'm a C's fan :dead:

I love the drunk bombastic nature of Knicks fans.

NEVER FORGET GAME 1...SERIES OF THE 82 GAME SEASON

It's called reallty. Outplayed him when the Mavs packed up the Jazz 4-2 and Luka missed 3 games with his back issue, then outplayed him two years ago in the first round.

Brunson might as well be his boogeyman :heh:

I don't think the Knicks are as strong as the Celtics and Cavaliers.

But I also don't think playoff series are won in February, either.

Guys can get hurt or sick in these next few weeks. Adjustments can be made. And sometimes in a game or series, shots don't fall. Players get hot and cold.

The Knicks are better than they were last year. Moving on from Randle was the right move.

Don’t understand the picks for Bridges. He’s not THAT nice to warrant the haul they paid for him. But Knicks will be fine
They won’t be fine and this is exactly what the thread is about. They fleeced their future on getting by against a fully loaded Celtics squad and a quietly ascending Cavs team. But keep kicking the proverbial can down Canal St you bootleg ass bytches

Knicks won off the strength of getting rid of Randle, to me the Bad move was Bridges while you already had OG. Bridges plays a lot of minutes is not assertive on offense and feasts on bad teams disappears against good teams looks scared out there.
But when Mitch, OG, and Hart integrate back on the team we will see the real Knicks since Thibs Drop defensive coverage depends on a defensive big protecting the Rim something Towns is not and we will not be depending on Precious playing 40 + minutes :scusthov:

besides that playoff series being 2 whole years ago and mitchell robinson having to be healthy in the first place.:unimpressed:

the cavs are gonna lock up the first seed, and the knicks will have to go through boston to even see the cavs. Worry about the celtics first.
