I'm beginning to think that both teams lost in the NYC/Minnesota trade

This Knicks team is clearly the red headed stepchild when it comes to elite teams in the NBA.. I had to endure ESPN talking about the Knicks being on a run these last couple of days, omitting that the run only started after the last time they got smacked around by an elite team which was the weekend before all star break. This game is bookending that paper mache tiger of a "run" because the Cavs have pulled the Knicks pants down to their ankles one (playing) week later after the Celtics demoralized them on primetime.

We know who the Twolves are at this point, but the Knicks management in similar fashion to Phiilly has hitched their wagon to this pipe dream that is this paper thin roster with KAT and Brunson's foul seeking ass.

Erego this entire trade was a bust :manny:

I'm thinking this is still a better Knicks team if they didn't dump Harkenstein, Randle and Divencenzo. They have no defense, no heart, no bench.

Knicks lost when they signed that dotted line with Brooklyn

5 first picks :scust:
I think it's their recent managerial moves in general that might be shorting their future.

Losing Harkenstein, the Bridges trade as you've mentioned and then the KAT trade... I don't think that's a great succession of managerial brilliance and we're seeing it play out in real time. They have no bench and are going to yet again run the guys they have starting into the ground. There's NO defense this time around though

They couldn't re-sign Hartenstein, they didn't let him walk. Once he was gone they had to pivot to find a center. They're fine. They had their best record in decades going into the break. They need to replenish the bench in the off-season. Defense will be much improved when mitch comes back.

Minnesota lost the trade clearly this is the Knicks best start in decades.

It’s important to note that the Knicks have been without Mitchell Robinson all year. A guy who tips playoff series with his offensive rebounding and defensive presence.

Ask Jarrett Allen why the lights were too bright. :sas2:

Brunson is another guy that gives Mitchell nightmares. I respect the Cavs and probably fear them more than the average Knicks fan. Most Knicks fans are comfortable with that matchup come playoff time.

OKC and Boston is another story
