Will the airforce take a 40 year old nikka in?They have the highest retention rate of all the branches too so it's not like spots are opening up I imagine.
:ufdup:If you dont join the AF at the age you at then you one big dummy.

Marine bootcamp is 13 weeks long
Vs 8 weeks in the af

Af has more opportunity to get a lucrative gig after you get out vs the rest of the branches .

Dorms and food on base is better .

If you gonna play the game then play it right.

Dont play yaself op.

I don’t know why people are clowning him for making 46k a year. Hopefully it’s after taxes.

That’s almost 4k a month, no wife, no kids, only 1k worth of bills including rent. That’s amazing. Not everyone pulling in 6 figures.

I’ve been AD Air Force for almost 16yrs now, let now me know if you got any questions.

So the age waiver is some bs?

Ehh, it's not bullcrap, however I don't see how op is going to do it. I got an age waiver, but I also had 2 1/2 years reserve status, so the military calculated my prior service time, and that put me under the age limit. I still had to go through some hoops though. So like I said it's not bullcrap, but if op doesn't have any prior military experience, I don't see how he's going to join any branch except for Air Force, because as previously stated, their age limit is now 39

A waiver for being old? It was a old nikka in my division who was a cop from new york but he was washed out later down the line for getting hurt during the running . But that was the Navy.
Yep dude is 40, but he's in tip top shape ( no :dame:). If they need you bad enough they'll give you a waiver for whatever. I had to get a credit waiver

I think I’m going to do it brehs and brehetts :obama:

Seriously. Don't.

Start your own company.

Most guys that aren't lifers in the military just end up doing their time and getting out to do contracting jobs or live off GI Bills and shyt. You don't have to do that to get into contracting and I'm sure you have an established resume at your age. Do contracting for 2 years, learn the game then start your own company. I'm saying this as a wrestler/grappler/martial artist of 11 years that's barely a weekend warrior now because I put that aside to start a company. Do the same, you won't regret it AND it will boost your salary and status higher than any military rank would.

NOBODY gets more respect that business owners, fam.
