I hear what you're saying but it's not the same.

We're expected to behave in a monolithic way. Specifically, we're expected to be uneducated, poor, have a bunch of kids out of wedlock, and have a criminal history. So when a breh doesn't conform to the shyt that Fox News says black people are, white people try to take away our blackness and say we're emulating white behavior rather than just saying, "That's a well-rounded brother."

Asians don't have that reputation. In fact, Asians are expected to have high academic achievements, expected to be square, to a degree. So I wouldn't even know what an Asian "emulating white behavior" would look like.

Can't really say I wanted to be one, but that's the environment I was raised in. I'm not racist or prejudice but had beliefs as a kid that I wanted to "fit in" and it wasn't easy being the only Asian kid in your grade in the entire town. There were Asian kids younger than me and older than me in my town, but not the same age.
So if you are an Oreo, I get it.
