Y'all have to get more creative with the Ross hate threads

first it was all his music sounds the same

then it was Wale would never get a release date

then it was Self Made 2 would never drop

Hold Me Back is getting played the fukk out on radio one in the DMV

Starting to hear diced pineapple creep into rotation on 92.3

Let me guess, Meek ain't dropping Oct 30th right?

There has never been an album made that doesn't get old if u replay it and only it for weeks at a time. You gotta let it breath a lil bit. A true test of replayability is if u can go back to it after you've stopped listening to it for a while. GFID has that, just like many of Ross' previous albums and mixtapes.

I disagree. No matter what region or genre of rap music you like, there is shyt that people can and do play for years and it never gets old. Do they work new stuff into the rotation too....yeah....but there's a difference between not playing an album because you're listening to new shyt, and getting tired of it.

I seriously think the internet fukked people's minds up to a certain extent. There is no anticipation for anything nowadays and when it does drop you have access to 100,000 other rappers.

I like Ross. The thing about him is that his music always makes a good first impression because of his beat selection. That impression eventually wears off though. He doesn't make timeless music but he's entertaining though

Its hard to stay entertained by demonic trash. Each satanic release has to trump the last in its ignorance otherwise the product becomes stale and loses replayability.

Name an album u can listen to for 3 weeks straight and not be tired of it?

Silly bytch stop using shyt that applies to EVERYBODY just to shyt on Ross. Its the nature of music and TV, Nobody wants to watch or listen to the same thing all the time

you nikkas trying everything.... y'all been praying on his downfall since 2010

I turn on the radio and all I hear is Rick Ross records

been that way for two years straight now...

Replay value is arguably the best thing he has going right now

Gfid was :wow: when it first dropped, fast foward almost 2 months after it leaked and its stale as fukk now, idk what it is.

I was bumpin rich forever on the way to work the other day and that still bangs, and this is coming from somebody who gets called a ross stan.

All his albums have been like that for me. Not to mention GFID is really not that great of an album. I can't even listen to 5 or 6 tracks on the album. As time goes by LIG is the much better album.

TOKYO, Taitou-Ku.
It's probably been tirelessly reiterated, but he confused his mixtape for an album this time around and vice versa. When Rich Forever dropped I thought to myself then and there that he'd have to have a Blueprint on his hands in order to outdo this with a studio album later on down the road.

lol @ this bullshyt

nikkas have been playing the Nas album since it came out and no one is tired of it. Generic/avg music doesn't last long.

It's not even a matter of bad/good music it's a matter of letting it breathe and pacing yourself. For example The Infamous, Madvillainy, and Mystic Stylez are some of my favorite rap albums but I would get tired of them after a week of listening to them exclusively. It's not a shot at a rapper but at how fans consume and "stan" music these days.

:aicmon: this nikka still lying about buying Ross albums.

What albums do have replay value to y'all though? Not one album has garnered any attention from this forum outside a two month window of its release except GFID and LIG. Every thing had a few threads pop up around release and then nobody here even discussed them albums anymore.

Lets see how much "replay value" and attention Cruel Summer has once Sept. ends :pachaha:
