Man I had a kid with an Indian woman and her family hated my guts. A couple of them tried to confront me and talk shyt but once they saw I was a real one, responsible, and would ride for my son they respected me. They didn’t all like me but they respected me and knew I was a real African warrior and that I would not take their shyt. The mom looooves me now and the dad likes me but won’t admit it. The family is dysfunctional AF..I ended leaving my son’s mom cuz she was tryna brjng that dysfunctional shyt into our house. I was like nope....

Maaaan you just gotta be out and about living your life and it’ll happen. Their culture is very xenophobic so any Indian woman stepping outside of any of the tribes within India is gonna be ostracized. So in other words you gotta find an Indian woman willing to risk it all just to be with your Black ass (assuming you are even Black). A Malayali can date a Punjabi or a British person but when they step outside to a big tall West African Igbo/Akan like me all hell breaks loose.

Off topic question, but do would y’all consider a trini or Guyanese “Indian”? And why do trini’s and Guyanese look like Indians ? I had a Guyanese guy that worked for me explain it to me once, but I don’t remember now, was it something to do with colonization or slavery?
Basically Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana have a large Indian population because the Indians were brought there as slaves by the British. A Guyanese person could be of African descent, Native “American” descent, Indian, or any mix of the 3...same with Trinidad with the addition of Spanish. My fam is from Trinidad and Tobago but I was born in the USA.
