I'm 25 years old and live with my parents. That makes me a loser right?

Just turned 22 and I plan on moving out before 2014. Staying in the house gets to you breh, I wake up sometimes thinking "I could leave right now" but I wanna put a lil more money in my pocket and buy a new whip for the winter. Pops gives me all the freedom in the world, and I contribute to rent, and buy all my own food and shyt, but still, the situation is just whack to me.

Obviously I wanna move out with my twin but he doesn't seem to have the same mindset as me about a lot of things so maybe if I move out he'll get the idea and finally form a budget.

But I also plan on buying my moms house and having her live there as long as she wants

I'm 25 still living with the fam, and I haven't felt bad about this one second of my life. I haven't even thought about leaving. I'm happy. My parents are happy. When I start being unhappy, maybe I'll consider changing my situation.

I'm not even gonna cover myself like a bunch of people here who say "I'm at home but but but but" and say I'm "saving money and getting my life right before I leave" - cause I'm not.

And yea times r different...... there is more opportunity than ever, imo.

:bryan:

Naw, bruh. You need a degree, certs, or hookups or you making mcdonalds money. That takes time.

shyt is different now, plus there are a lot of variables. Are your parents poor? Where you live? It's easier to get your own spot in bumfukk kentucky then it is in LA or NYC. Some folks don't get along with their folks and gotta get some roomies. Plus some people straight up lying. Living on they own but they parents pay for their cell phone bill or pitch in on rent every now and then.

As far as women go? Lot of these hoes staying wit their parents too, don't get it twisted. Especially them hispanic women. Gotta kid or two and still livin wit momz. :russ:

It's real out here. As long as you got a plan you're ok. If you just smokin trees and playin madden, yea you lost.

17 i graduated..

my friends sold drugs, my best friend whos like my brother had no future, so he hooked me up. when people got locked up and things got crazy, i joined military so i they could pay for my other degree. And yea times r different...... there is more opportunity than ever, imo.

nothing wrong w living at home.. just for me a daughter can stay. a son can only 'come back' if things get bad.

Every last person that moved outta home at 18 joined the military. Says a lot about the economy not able to support hard working grown people without an education or without military experience. LOL @ giving your son a hard time while making your daughter into a self-entitled lady.

a daughter shouldn't be a bum living at home, she should further her education and develop herself...

some of the experiences i man gets .....he can only get by leaving the nest around 17 or 19.

And it's not Every Last person that leaves at 18 joins the military, plenty of people simply grow up and get out. i had a college scholarship, i didn't join the military out of necessity, i did it cuz i was young n stupid and found it a smart way to travel and gain work experience, fukk hoes around the world and get paid doing it. but if someone does join, then i find that more appealing than leaching.

:wtf: you serious? shyt by the time you son grows up, even the military will run out of money to keep him in. I say treat your kids the same way. Can't let your son financially struggle while your daughter have a fraction of the strain. No wonder women make more than men these days, cause society comforts women and punishes men into developing their skills properly when they still young.

the smokin trees and madden nikkas are usually the ones complaining tho.... that's the point.

Most people don't live in NY and LA, but its hard everywhere... I live in Detroit, was born into a crazy situation and was out by 14. Basically it's up to the person... cuz I know privileged kids who aren't doing shyt, and some who are.

certs degrees n all that shyt takes time.... but fasfa can get u loans and there are jobs u can do while in school. ur poor then it's 2 years at CC then move on... get refund checks.

in college i had 4 roommates, 2 worked at mcdonalds, the other two didn't do shyt and we made it. Honestly when i was 19, i didn't need shyt but a bfast bar and roman noodles to survive in life...

In some cultures people wait until they are about to start a family to move out. Myself I was 26 before I ever had my own spot, stack ya money, as long as your not just staying there cuz you don't want to work I wouldn't call you a loser.

Still start stacking your paper though. The day will come when you no longer live with your parents and you want to be as comfortable on your own as you are at home. People move out just to say they have freedom and their quality of life suffers tremendously. I think having the money to buy the things you want and still have bills covered is freeing and living at home provides that luxury. If you move out broke, you're going to be grinding to pay bills and that's NO fun.

i dealt w enough women, and even took advantage of enough women to know that men have the advantage overall. black men are target for society to shyt on - so black women may be more successful...... but for the most part, u don't wanna just throw ur daughter out there.

anyway this is just my opinion. Men should take care of women. we don't want daughters to grow up in the struggle, A son can make it and play the cards he's dealt.... A women doesn't need to be out here hungry, cuz that hunger turns to thirst... and thirsty bishes are easy to take advantage of.

You raise a son to be a man and he will appreciate it in the end.

If it were me, i'd consider myself a loser. You should be working on improving your situation. You need to be working full time, or in school full time trying to improve yourself. If you're just hanging around not really working on anything or making any moves, you'll be in the same place 5 years later. Then at that point you'll probably never do anything.:ld:

Sounds like broke people's way of thinking. That's just me, no offense

I rather pass something worth of wealth or value, in assets, to my son when he grows up so that he can have a better and easier life than me. Not spoiling him, but he shouldn't have to worry about a roof over his head or basic shyt like that.
