I couldn't imagine living with my parents at 25. I was out at 20 and never looked back, even when I was struggling. Start waiting tables or bartending if you need money. You can make enough doing that.
Nah. Dude I lived in my parents house for a couple of months after I graduated college and before I moved to NY. I did it to save money.
It did suck though. especially sleeping in my bedroom where I hadn't slept in for years...still with posters from high school on the wall.
do you work? go to school? f hoes?shyt just dawned on me this morning. Like I could of sworn when I was 17 I vowed to move out around 23...but I'm still fukking here. I even peeped my folks giving me that get the fukk out our house look a few times. But real talk, this is my new mission, I gotta get outta here. Hopefully the next thread I make will be in my apartment.
i left at 14....SMH @ putting your son out when he still in HS. There ain't no jobs out there like that anymore and hustling shyt ain't gonna get the bills paid anymore.

breh said lookin like a ace hood video shootBreh me and my gf went and looked at one of those apts back when we struggling. I mean the inside is pretty nice and decent size but as soon as you walk out and got a dozen staring you down, looking like a Ace Hood video shoot, I knew it would never work.
post artworkI'm in the same boat, breh. Just got a warehouse job getting 11/hr full time. Beats unemployment. Feels good to be a member of society again, like I'm working towards something and I'm not stagnant.
Found another job that's 13/hr closer to home. I'm going to work out my budget just so that's at the back of my mind and I can operate on autopilot for awhile. Then I can focus on drawing in my time off and make some money on the side.
17 i graduated..Times are different. When did you graduate HS and what did you do to support yourself?
