Interesting and great grand finale to sum this thread up.

On the final page, poetically,we have a Nas stan who questioned how anybody could hate certain songs off Illmatic....trashing those very songs for being as average as they were:wow:

Sums up what we all have been saying for years, the brainwashing captured alot of nikkas and hype beast over the years....Illmatic became the proof of ID for nikkas who want hiphop credibility.

But the word is out now,and been out for a while now, anybody saying Illmatic is greater than goat albums, you will be checked more thouroghly, you will patted down, you will be racially profiled:mjpls:

In summary, The Booth is obsessed with SirBiatch and will make up anything to deny how much of a hold he has on their lives :ahh:

It's been my favorite east coast hip hop album before I even knew how revered it was. Having bought both when they first dropped, I used to think IWW was the stronger album due to it's content. It took me a few years of occasionally spinning it to really appreciate Illmatic. I never thought of it as a lyrical masterpiece, but the production was on point and rhyme schemes unparalleled and it's got a decent amount of quotables. Pac is the only other person in my eyes that's ever been able to ride beats like Nas was able to do on this album. Almost a symbiotic relation to the production imo.

@SirBiatch is a young cac who wasn't allowed to listen to rap until Em had two albums... He ain't know shyt about illmatics virtual nonexistence when it came out and flopped.
Besides the Nas slander, he was right about @SirBiatch not knowing about Illmatic :ehh: & he got the time frame in which @SirBiatch found out that Hip-Hop existed right too:ehh:

"First impressions" my ass. If that's your first impression of Illmatic you fukking lost at life. I don't give a shyt if you eventually come to realize it's a dope album.
