I agree with the op.

Nas is a great lyricist on illmatic, manages to say so much with less words. His imagery is fantastic and he really does paint a picture lyrically and put you into the song with his descriptions but how is illmatic the most lyrical album of all time ? :mjpls:

illmatic is a classic, illmatic is very lyrical, but fukk outta here, it has been topped many times. Eminem albums are even more lyrical than Illmatic :childplease:

You're missing out if you haven't sat and listened to Doe or Die all the way through. Doe or Die + Ready to Die + OB4CL = IWW.

And I could see how you'd be a Lupe stan. I know he says IWW is his favorite album, but a lot of Lu's raps sound like RD on steroids; puns and double entendres.
Word... I'm about lyricism... if we talkin about what naS was doin with internal rhymes and what not, theres just a lot of nikkaz that do it better. For nas i check for his stories, and that about it. But Lu is like a RD Jay on roids... but RD Jay is a top 5 rapper.
