As for Wu Tang, I really dont fukc with those niccaz, I think they are genuine garbage. I like a lil KP, some Ghost, and some Meth... none of the others have any redeemable qualities.

I also fail to see how naS was more poetic than say.... Common. But I dont even have to take it that far, we can use that Juelz verse at the top of the page. How is anything on illmatic more poetic than that?

That whole opening to the first verse is just crazy. Almost every single word is in the rhyme scheme up to composition. Plus he said he monkey flips rappers with the funky rhythm he be kicking. He's a musician inflicting compositions of pain.
Then if you still don't get the poi t - he hits you over the head likening himself to Scarface sniffing cocaine holding an M16.

That's how a lyricist tells you he's a better rapper than the competition!

I agree with a lot of this. But outside off monkey rhythm and a few other lines, ny state of.mind connected and made sense. You said nas calling his body a physicall frame was dumb but I bet you like pacs physical form line. And also how does "the mind activation reacts like I'm facing time like pappy mason with pens I'm embracing" not make sense? That's one of the better lines on the album.

Nah outside of the hook and beat I place that song near my least favorite Pac joints, its kinda generic to me along with Cant C Me. Most Pac fans love them joints, im in the minority.

As for the other line, it was cool until the "with pens im embracin" he can embrace the pen or write things with the pen that are embraced, but as written it doesnt make sense. I get what he was getting at but a better writer gets the line to rhyme and make gramatical sense.

to highlight my points here, Pac has some instances where he does similar shyt... In "fame" he starts off a damn near classic verse, but near the end this nicca goes off on a tangent talkin bout "bullshyttin got his ass hit" which was completely outta place... On "as the world turns" same thing classic verse then "makaveli for the mob killin bustaz is my muthafukcin job..." I be all like

I feel that way about his verse on the road,to zion, his last line was cringe worthy grammatically and it alnost ruined the whole verse.

I didnt duck the question. I dont fukc with those niccaz because every time I hear them on a track theyre getting slaughtered so I have no incentive to listen to their albums. Give me one track from LS & OB4CL, if theyre garbage like the features then I wont listen to anymore.
