Question is Steph at 22 or Ky at 22. They're not THAT far apart now, a 27 in prime Kyrie could be miles ahead of where Steph is now, especially if his stroke improves.

I understand hmthat Kyrie is 22 but so what:manny:? He's not the type of player where I think he has infinite potential like an Andrew Wiggins or a Anthony Davis. When I hear "Well Kyrie is only 22" I can't help but roll my eyes. He just seems like a players who was more polished early on. I think his greatest improvement will come just by getting smarter but I don't really see him getting that much better at shooting and finishing because he's already so good at those skills. From a skills and even physical perspective KI's potential seems maxed out imo:manny:. Just needs to work on the mental aspect so he just doesn't end up never improving
This makes a great deal of sense. :ehh:

Age doesn't factor in?

In the conversation of "who is better"? No.

In the conversation of "who will be better"? Sure. If you're factoring in age, then you're having a different conversation than "Who is better?" Ya'dig? Kyrie is legitimately an atrocious defender. Most fans don't care about that in these conversations, but it needs to be factored in.

Again, if you want to talk about "who would you rather have on your team" then do that. But the title of this thread is "Who is better?" And the answer is Steph. There really isn't a valid argument.

Those are full season stats.

Everything else you typed is your own personal belief.

The offense runs through LeBron. That's where he's comfortable and that's one of the many things he is best at.

He is the best player in the world.

Kyrie can definitely improve as a playmaker/passer. He's a natural skilled scorer. There is really no need to change how he plays on offense.

The only question they had going into the season was if he could play off the ball. He's proven he can this season.
Kyrie isn't done with his season....

Lebron publicly came out and said he doesn't want to run the offense full time, only reason he's doing it is because Kyrie is a poor floor general. Don't see how you can flip this any other way, we even saw how the team performed with him having PG duties, it wasn't exactly successful.

Curry was the best player on his team, scored the most for his team, and ran the entire offense for a 49 win team that went to the 2nd round.

I'm a fan of Kyrie, but he has never done that in his career. Not even close to it. The 1st time he's been out the lottery was when Lebron came back to lead the team, something Curry has never had.

My posts in this thread have nothing to do with the thread title. Ya dig?

One is in his prime the other is approaching his in a few years.

fukk do I care about your posts for? You want to make a new argument for a new conversation... make a new thread.

You quoted me -- and said "Age doesn't factor in?"

And I said no. Not here. Keep it moving.

Kyrie is better at 22 but Steph wasn't first option until Monta left so he held back and tried to play pure point almost the whole time. Steph is the better all-around player in my opinion but Kyrie is better offensively. You can't go wrong with either one but the way Steph plays the game is better and he plays winning basketball.

Westbrook, Curry and CP3 are still the three best PGs in the game. Gonna take Kyrie a while before he can knock one of them out of their spot.
