You could be right on that point tho
I think you could make a far better argument for the Clippers at this point.

You could argue that Kawhis team is holding the Lakers hostage until the Market dries up and then signs with the Clippers to weaken the Lakers.

That's just me making shyt up, but that makes more sense than waiting this long to sign with the Lakers to me

I mean if it was me I would have signed with the Raps already, I mean they just won the championship and they’d be top 3 in the East with him still there next year. I don’t see the Clippers move making sense because to me that’s a worse supporting cast than the Raptors. Lakers make obvious sense if he wants a super team tho.

I'm trying to think of past free agents and it seemed like if a player was returning to a team it was announced pretty quickly where as if the process was drawn out it usually meant they were gone. But I'm too lazy to verify that lol.

Norfeast groovin…
That doesn't really make sense

Why would he Wait to sign in LA when all the role players are getting snatched up?

The longer he waits the worse the Lakers chance of filling out the roster gets.

None of this feels like he's going to the Lakers to me

I have zero idea just like everyone else but none of whats happened makes me thinks lakers

But what exactly makes you think the Lakers would’ve had the money to sign Kawhi AND some of the contracts some of these role players got? It couldn’t happen either way.

Meanwhile, there are still solid role players on the market literally waiting for Kawhi and on top of that a lot of the money has dried up which will help the Lakers in getting bargains.

The reason for the delay is today is Canada day and Kawhi wants to be respectful to the Raptors organization. Lakers get their official meeting with Kawhi today after having corresponding for a full year with him. After he signs we’ll fill things out quickly.

So the Wizards grand master plan to help Beal while Wall is out is to dump their only promising young guard and bring in IT and Ish fukking Smith in his place???? :mjlol:

Hope Griff is ready to pull the trigger come deadline time once Beal gets fed up with IT's turnstile ass leaking lockerroom arguments to Woj after they start out the season 15-35 :russ::PierreBlessed:

Wizards got a $5M traded player exception and another 2nd...But I'd have kept Satoransky.
