^^^ if said white dude came through the hood in LA for whatever reason not too far back in the day....would someone hit him with the "What set you claim?, etc"....i doubt it. just a corny white dude in a polo and he can go about his business and would be ignored.

When I was in college, I was follow around a store by a CAC and my friends were asked if we were up to something illegal. Secondly, fukk calling the law...the law isnt any black persons friend, and would takke how long before arriving? See, self defense involves dispatching an imminent threat immediately. I was just listening to Tariq, and he said something that rings true. To all those that are reading this thread, start frequenting black establishments(I'm talking to ALL OF THE BLACKS HERE) and pooling your resources with other blacks. This leads to an economic base, which can buy politicians/judges/cops to aid us. If not that, having an independent economic base, gives you the freedom to do true activism(IE shutting down roads and bus/train stations for days, since you're not in fear of losing your job).

I been on board since I read Claud Anderson's Black Labor, White Wealth and Powernomics. Economics is key to all of our problems. America is a capitalistic society, somewhere along the way we seemed to have forgotten this.

We gotta stop thinking other people's ice is colder than ours. And not only that, when one of us does get on, we shyt on cats who aint on that we can potentially put on. Other cultures practice "each one, teach one." A lot of us arent concernced with reaching back and puttin their peers or the youngins up on game. They'd rather keep it to themselves instead of independently organized. This just breeds an individualistic mindset which just feeds the beast.

I known since middle school that a teen covering up with a hoodie in a store will lead to trouble...and also in environments of a certain class as it is seen as anti-social.





However, that doesn't give zimmerman to right to chase trayvon down the block. Not justifying anything....but as a black teen and adult you have to be aware of what you are doing and how you are dressing....it just doesn't apply to hood survival.

Yeah, we see how great that technology is working in this trial. Trials are more about words and perception than anything in a situation like that.... and in a nation like this the perception is young black guy = wrong... even if he's the one that ended up dead.

Travon should have been strapped-- legally. If not strapped, he should have called 911, then attempted to kill the guy w his bare hands.. because the natural threat perception when a quote 'craker' is following you is deadly.
Would have been better is travon lived however, if zimmerman gets off he should be killed and dismembered. Not because that one particular individual racist matters or that his death will bring the kid back to life.... but to make the point clear that injustice is unacceptable.
