This is stupid. Daniels

Fields isnt even worth a first round pick in a trade, so in what world would it make sense to pass on a top 5 prospect?

Even with a shyt system/support foundation Fields has improved every year :manny:
The fact that the Bears only have two competent pass catchers (Moore and Kmet) and they fired their bum offensive coordinator and basically the entire offensive staff should indicate that Fields is not that bad.

Another problem with Fields is that you're pretty much saying it's win now mode. Daniels gives you leeway and allows you more cap space flexibility, obviously. Whoever trades for Fields is gonna have to pay him.
Only reason I disagree is he still on rookie deal & u can always give him the Danny Dimes contract where u can void in 2, that's 3 years of seeing can this work because them other young bulls if they perform to potential gonna be wanting they check just around that 3 year mark. U lose a year or more if Daniel's has any learning curve

I love the people that think Fields is a bad quarterback, but they have not even bothered looking at any stats. Fields only played in 13 out of 17 games this year, but he still threw for 2,562 yards; 16 touchdowns and only 9 interceptions one of which was because of Darnell Mooney. Fields also ran for 4 touchdowns and for 657 yards. Only Stroud, Derek, Carr and Lamar Jackson played in as many games and threw fewer interceptions than Fields. There were a who lot of other elite quarterback that threw the same number of picks as Fields and in some cases a whole lot more.

If there is a knock on Fields it is his completion percentage at 61.4%. However, the top quarterbacks in the league were only between 66% to 69%, but those guys also have one or more elite level receives. Fields does not have elite level receivers. He has Moore and Kmet who are really good receivers, but that is it.
He really should have 8 officially because they never took away that one Hail Mary throw that hit the ground. Also like you mentioned, Darnell Mooney bobbling the Hail Mary to the Browns defender. Since he came back from injury, he really only threw one pick.

The problem if you're a team like the Falcons committing to a Justin Fields means you have to see.him as a franchise QB. If all anything you take Jayden you have a guy on his rookie deal again and you can build around.

Those passing numbers aren't good and there's a big gap between 61% and 66% over the course of a full or near-full season.

Not necessarily. Their offensive weapons are still young/on rookie deals and like @|r|e|a|d| said you can do a Daniel Jones type of deal.
