Never did I say rich. But pass something on to your adult child. That will be the more difficult period of their life than anything.
Only old bums who don’t have anything tangible to pass down to their kids would argue with this concept. It’s like these dudes are proud they don’t HAVE to do that. And wonder why we are in the shyt we are in today.

that’s definitely NOT what I’m arguing you slow dunderhead faggit :mjlol:

I pointed out the reason why it’s been difficult in this country for many black parents to be in a position to do so from an economical/educational standpoint

This shyt here and the 28 people who dapped this is the reason why black people are so far behind economically and have to start from zero behind other groups.

My faith is a big reason why I get off work and work. Building a business of your own has a lot to do with finding the impetus from within. Emotions, or what I believe are more likely spirits, will come by every time in the form of ppl or images in your head filling you with doubt.

Many so called black ppl have drifted so far away from their culture that they can only see as far into the future as their oppressor allows, which is usually about two weeks.

Building for a life beyond yours is something done by ppl with culture.

So called black ppl provide the world with so many cultural queues. I think it’s because the best of us have to go thru a no man’s land and learn what culture really is by not having it, but still wanting what comes with it.

I had to work for everything I have now and received zero handouts from my parents. I do OK. But, I just think, what if I had some sort of nest egg or inheritance that could catapult me to the next tax brackets? Hell, even a property? Land?

That's the mistake a lot of people make, not focusing on generational wealth at all causes stagnation to your lineage. Without keeping this in mind every single new adult released into the world, start on square one. It's not in the child's best interest.

Now I grew up with both a mother and father in a relatively middle class stable lifestyle but it's just still not enough. I'm competing against people that have old / long money fueling their ambitions or basic life.

Don't even get me started with grandparents. If your grandparents cannot pass something on you might as well not even meet your fukking grandchildren, otherwise what's the point of you? My grandparents left me ZERO and left my mother and her siblings with debt and anxiety taking care of them in their final years.

I know the circumstances were different back then. But for Christs sake, start building that nest egg or something as soon as your child is born. Pay for their school, down payment for a house, something that can give them an edge rather than starting all over again.

I feel selfish feeling this way. And I even lowkey resent my family for this. It's a complex range of emotions.

But I'm curious how y'all feel about it.

The lack of awareness is unreal. Your parents bathed you, fed you, put up with your tantrums and illnesses and failures and dreams only for you to call them failures ?

You think they had access to the technology and knowledge we have now ?

You need to learn not everyone is market orientated or industrious.

Read that again.

If you can't understand then I want you to read that entire post when your mama is on her deathbed.

Don't flinch...

Don't waver...

Look her dead in her dilated eyes...

Tell her...

"You're a failure"

Then read your entire post word for word. Line for line.

This is what you jumped out the window to cosign

"Don't even get me started with grandparents. If your grandparents cannot pass something on you might as well not even meet your fukking grandchildren, otherwise what's the point of you?"

Do you agree with that, or did you forget to look before you leaped?

So if your parent becomes terminally ill at a young age and passes away leaving you nothing they failed?

If a parent has some disease and is unable to work. So the other parent has to change their schedule and career to take care of the family. But is unable to leave you a bunch of shyt as an adult. That means they failed as a parent?

Jokers on here live in the land of the lost mentally. Most kids have to get it out the mud and become successful on their own. Why? Cause most people and their parents are avg people.

Jokers on here have this fairy tale view of life where most parents out here hooking they kids up with jobs, busineses and 100s of thousands of dollars soon as they become adults.

But real talk most silly teenagers and young adults feel this way. Until they get older and on their own. Then realize life is hard for most people and that most of the time in life only around a few people will ever love you unconditionally and look out for you with no strings attached (your parents, grandparents and kids).

If you grew up in a family where you were love, protected, fed, bath, clothed, not mistreated, not abused and given knowledge and educated.

If you received that all above. There is no way no how in this world that those people who raised you "failed". No material shyt made by man or woman (money, jewelry and etc) can replace that...if you think other wise you are lost mentally.

60% of American don’t even have 1000 dollars in there savings account for an emergency. And if we’re talking about black people that number even less. And y’all talking about passing down generational wealth and land....:dwillhuh:

what world are y’all living in???

with cost of living sky rocketing and salaries not keeping up, most people just worried about having enough for tomorrow.
