It's a choice. Grew up seeing damn near every male in my neighborhood let that shyt be their downfall. Damn near all my Uncles as well. They all let drugs or alcohol control their life. I seen it take down men I thought was strong so I was like
it has nothing to do with religion. I just always looked around and thought how half the folk in the hood that's doing bad wouldn't be there if they was sober.

Nothing wrong with going out. Most people just prefer going out with others that are on their wavelength in regards to indulging in drinking or smoking. As a non-drinker at my age I prefer to chill indoors on New Years. I've done the party shyt and I don't like being around drunks anymore.
