An uncomfortable truth is that you got a lot of families that point blank don't get along with each other and going in on a house just won't work because the fam is so damn dysfunctional.
I’m aware. One side of my family is dysfunctional and the typical stereotypes… pimps, prostitutes, criminals and addicts.

:francis:

But on the other side we always help each other out and everyone is successful and we all share family properties and no one would ever be homeless if their backs were against the wall or if something tragic happened to any of us.

I’ve seen both sides of it. We can and should do better and leave the jackasses to themselves.

Here in UK, you will find 3 generations of Indians under one roof with kids and wives.

Each generation of sons are managing multiple properties.

You have to do what’s best for you and your family to get ahead in life, I guess.
Indians do the same here. The Indian girl was dating black/Spanish kids but when that marriage time came, she already had an Indian guy waiting. The Indian guy had a paid off condo in Manhattan and alot of money and high paying job on top.

Indian guys don't leave the house until they are married, usually.

Some of the Indian Guyanese also do the same , but I don't know to how far of an extent as Indians from India

I got kicked out when I got my girl pregnant, when I was 23. I wasn’t even really home anyway, but my patented lack of preparedness really made it hard for us in the beginning. I kinda wish I had a family that would have stuck with me in times like that…but that did more to prepare me for life than anything else I think

That said, I would give my children a place to stay so long as they are trying and not moving in a bad direction(drug use, illegal activity, etc).

I understand.

Prayer sent up,but in a good way,be open minded. If you change your mind

1.Make sure your endocrine system is at its most optimal.
2. Semen retention
3. Watch lesbian porn
4.Bible study
5.Get rid of women in your social circle
Thanks I'll head over to JBO now

Why do so many in our community have this mindset? And we wonder why we don’t have any fukking generational wealthy or stability
Given that lower income foreigners, white people, Hispanics, Africans, etc have no issue with their kid staying at home...I can't answer this question. It's clearly not about economic demographics, given that similarly lower or middle income people aren't doing this. Is it cultural? I have no idea but it's just another bad financial decision on top of many more...

If your kid is 18-20 they're likely on their way to college, in college, or working towards it. Some will live in dorms, some will move in with a friend...but many stay home. Obviously nearly every kid that age WANTS to move out and is working towards it but not everyone can do it right away. So being able to stay with your parents becomes a huge benefit.

18-20 is college people do be staying at home. I don't think it's very common for people to move out at 18 so idk see how this is some "black mentality" But beyond college age, Most of people I know are not living w/ their parents due staying does affect career growth

Exactly. Lifting up "kids must live apart from their parents" as some sort of ideal norm is ignorant and defeating.

Here's a decent essay on where we went wrong:

I had an older European man in his 50's+ said he moved back in with his parents with his wife. Fell on hard times...:manny: The pendulum of life can swing in any direction at anytime that's why I look down on NOBODY because it could be ME at any given time. Fukk I look like worrying about where somebody lives when they could living on the streets. I don't wish that on ANYONE
