I am Uncle Grandpa status.

My main thing I seem to do these days is sit down and read (posts on TheColi, other websites, or some book I brought along), while my wife is walking through the store taking forever to decide on what she wants to purchase. In my youth, I always had a valid excuse on why I could not go with her. Now, I have no excuse I can use since I am retired. So I am forced to sit in purgatory waiting on her to make a decision only to stand up and finally make the payment for an item she may or may not use. Then I am dragged to the next store to rinse and repeat.

I go along because it makes her feel good, but I am slowly turning to stone with boredom as time seems to slow to a crawl for me while she shops.
