In every piece of fiction, the werewolf transformation is incredibly painful and in most of them you are completely feral and hostile in the night you turn into a werewolf and can't tell the difference between regular people and anything else. So, someone will likely shoot you at night if you come too close to their house.

But by OP choices, might just go werewolf.

As for the topic, these are Underworld Werewolves. The transformation doesn't hurt after the first time being turned, it takes 5 seconds max, & you retain your intelligence in addition to extra senses. Stronger, faster, more durable, & regeneration. Besides, they started off as slaves.
