If you was a black celebrity and “worth” 200 million how would you go about helping the black community 🤔

200 million really ain’t maybe at a neighborhood level, but to play along.

- local black owned bank to get payday loans out, emergency rooms etc (predatory services run by other races)
- slow rollout of black owned businesses like grocery stores & professional services
- development of public schools and public art installations / museums
- introduction of our own police force

The most important aspect a serious talk about the community that most people ain’t ready for.

By Village I just mean a small community of people that can be self sufficient. I'm not really talking about a farming community.
As a city guy you probably don't know that you basically described damn near every Black rural community in the thirld world

My ex comes from a small ass town on the pacific coast. There are no roads no electricity and no running water people live off what they can catch in the river or grow in the mountains or they get a job in the "city"

200mil would go a long way on the west side (and north east side) here in charlotte
its not just giving it away but also having something for the people there to do, some real like 75-85k jobs would return that money asap.

if i knew what kind of business could do that (salaries) then i think i'd be a lil further along in implementing that, but if it was just to seed then being able to do some UBI programs could really alleviate the need to "get it out the mud" and allow people a lil breathing room to determine how to really thrive. Even just utility bill assistance goes such a long way...and with the summer months, its gonna be a scorcher!

I'm not saying much for real but sheesh man with 200mil neighborhood rejuvenation could go so quick. The community already knows its talents and so being able to sponsor the different people in the community to excel at those talents, or redirect them. I know plenty of young men who are fast and strong, but shorter than they need to be to play football, but lacrosse? sheesh.

200mil, if you set up like a 2mi radius in which to run that money out, that could go extremely far is all im saying. the money man has to be on the ground tho

#2 would be designed to be nearly cost neutral. I would have others running it.

#3 I can pace. $1m per year or 0.5% interest off my wealth.

#4 I could easily finance this off interest on my wealth. 1% at $2m a year could cover much of this if planned right. Again, others would manage it.

#5 private equity makes money. Grow these companies and either have the owner buy me out or sell it for a payday for me and the owner :yeshrug:

#6 I could basically set up a fund and attract investors. Don't have to just use my cash.

This is a really good point, the interest a long with allow you to invest in all sorts of initiatives if you are responsible.

Open some non profit halfway houses in Houston with better counselors. A lot of young adults here get sentenced to a year in jail instead of probation simply because they have no where to go. Halfway houses can provide rehab, counseling, jobs, etc. And a celeb owned one would be even better.

Education is what I’m big into.
Invest more into my HBCU. Specifically; I’m going to help with pumping more money into the engineering dept. Try to get younger males into engineering, by hosting workshops and providing mentors. Buy my way onto the school board.
Put a few kids in the communities of North Carolina & Mississippi through college. Young teenagers that want to make something of themselves, but just need a little help financially.

Donate and help further push the politicians I support.

Outside of that, I’m staying lowkey. If I don’t marry my current lady, I’d marry a woman who loves me, and I love her. Gotta have a good head on her shoulders. Sound morals, values, and she’s gotta be pretty. Really the only thing I require.

I say just 200 because that’s just enough so other black people wont say your a plant or Illuminati

:russ:

But my idea is trade school trade school trade school

They cant that that knowledge away from you and you cant start a small business if you want yourself

That’s when black people had power

And can feed themselves without having to work for “them”
