If you think about it a bit, why is Nastradamas considered a "wack album"?

:wtf:

I know Life Is Good is hot and all, but the Nas stanning is going a little overboard now

The words "Nastradamus" and "wack album" belong together, stop trying to revise history

It's an average album. Redeeming qualities of the album:

Life We Chose
Project Window- one of the best Nas songs ever
Last Words
Come Get Me

"You Owe Me" is a nice record for what it is. "New World" is tolerable. Everything else ranges from average ("Some of Us Have Angels", "God Love Us", "Family") to weak ("Quiet N") to wack ("Nastradamus") to one of the worst songs Nas ever recorded ("Big Girl")

Its a decent song amongst the sea of garbation Schnoz crapped out at the time.

It's on par with other good, boring songs like 'small world'.

i personally rocked with it, and still give it spins every now and again. it wasn't as strong as some of his other albums but it is still enjoyable and has some gems. thats just how i feel.

i get that some people didn't like this album, my thing is, why do yall have a problem with other people actually liking this album? i mean, someone says "i like nastradamus" and yall respond like "no, NO, its wack, your delusional and revising history, you didn't enjoy that album, no-one did, everybody in the world agrees that album was trash, nas fell off, it is impossible that you actually find anything to like about this album, none of the songs were good, none of the beats were good, none of the verses, choruses or guests were good, stop being a stan, this album is an abomination. YOU CANNOT LIKE THIS ALBUM!!!!!!!"

Because that's not what happens at all. You're just inventing this calm, reasonable sentiment and then an outlandish, extreme reaction. It's not as if people are always on some shyt like "hey buddies, guess what guys, I know it wasn't so well-received but personally I enjoy songs off of this album!" And then out of nowhere naysayers swoop in to say "it's illegal for you to enjoy this album!" It's usually some hilariously stupid shyt like "yo, I know cats hated on it, but really it's a 4.5 mic album and a top 3 release that year and now that I think about it Nas never released an album under 4 mics and has 5 classics damn that nikka is the GOAT. Oh, and his double time flow on Big Things was right on par with Twista."

Reasonable posts about any rapper are what they are. It's the extremes that set true Nas stans apart. "yo dog, Nas fukking killed that joint with Jermaine Dupri, that's a top 10 verse for any other rapper." :manny:

most people associated the garbage lead single/title track with the entire album. which was unfair, because the rest of the album sounded nothing like that.

but honestly you cant lead off with some doodoo like that :snoop:

this one song makes Immobilarity more worthwhile than Nastradamus.

That record saved that album(made it average :hmm: ). What a cluster fukk of a album.

Tho I am not going to lie, seen Rae live the year that album came out. And Incarcerated Scarfaces(yes I know, not on Immobilarity) to the Still Dre beat live, is still 10 years and change later, a highlight to my concert going career... :yeshrug:

Quiet nikkas and big girl were terrible, so were the skits

Nas verse on last words is one of the best verses he's ever

I like the album a lot
