If you think about it a bit, why is Nastradamas considered a "wack album"?

I always fukked with it, I bought it, I was in 8th grade at the time, people LIKEd 'You Owe Me', we watched the videos on MTV James every morning before school, but, yeah, it was rushed, thrown together, and besides a lot of the tracks were kinda phoned in, esp. production wise.

For an artist like Nas, in hindsight, it's weak, but at the time, I fukked with it, 2-9, are all fire, truthfully. But, even tracks like 'Come Get Me' are lacking inspiration, it was just an unfortunate storm of events that created it, but I'll throw on 'Nastradamus', whenever, fukk it, gets more plays then a lot of shyt i copped in the last ten years.

doeboy is still here, posting as "gravity" now. doeboy is one poster. the nas brigade has like 100 soldiers. you see it in the poll threads, and in the joke threads. A jay-z joke thread will be... a joke thread. there might be a few people who pop up to defend jay, but most will joke. a nas joke thread... 20 different posters will neg you and post serious, dumb ass posts in defense of that dusthead simp.

only nas has a fan base that will see an online interview he does, with an accompanying photo of him in sandals that have a lion imprinted on them, and say "oh shyt, this next album is a guaranteed classic, nas did it again, did you see them sandals?"

shyt is stanning beyind stanning. Nas standom is the scientology of stanning.

Maybe Wu stans come as close in term of loyalty, but not in terms of insanity and historical revision. Pac stans are right with Nas stans in terms of passion and delusion, but not in numbers. Canibus stans used to rival Nas stans, but they've pretty much disappeared.

As a Nas stan I apologize for this topic, because Nastradamus is a crap album in 1999, 2009, or whenever. It's a couple dope tracks mixed with rubbish, and nothing more. It included the wackest, of all Mobb/Nas collabos, and probably his worst song ever in Big Girl...and hydro drops skit :scusthov:

Between that and Immobilarity I went into a mini depression that month

Even the DJ Premier track was wack on Nastradamus. There's not one good song. Shoot em up is a light weight guilty pleasure but that's it. there's is no other songs.
