Most of these athletes are dead broke within 2 years of leaving the league. Everyone isn't Lebron. Outside of baseball, an 18-year career with a pension isn't the norm.

Jordan owns 90% of the teamI was disappointed when Oprah didn't buy the LA Clippers when she had the chance. Now another white person owns that team. Are there any black team owners in the NBA/NFL? Real owners who own a majority of the team and not 0.0001% like Jay-Z/Michael Jordan.

These smart dumb crab nikkas mane. Cats will say anything to get their crab on. How dude didn't know MJ the majority owner?Jordan owns 90% of the team
I know this analogy has been made many times and it pisses lots of people off but even with this whole Colin Kaepernick thing poppin off if you still can't see the parallels I don't know what to tell ya
Not literally of course. Do y'all even know what the word "parallel" means?
Colin right now is "bucking the system", "running away from the plantation" and they are gonna do everything in there power to do the equivalent of what they did to Kunta Kinte: chop his foot off. Take away his endorsements, demonize him in the media, even may blackmail him from the league and anything league related after his playing days are finished.
Athletes like Cam Newton knows this and that's why they choose to stay obedient, subservient, docile, to "remain on the plantation" so to speak instead of speaking out for their people.
The white man (owners) are housing, feeding and clothing them so they have most of the leverage. These athletes are fearful of pissing off massa and having their privileges taken away (whipped, amputated, neutered to parallel)
Peace
My thoughts exactly. The NFL is the WORST example of this. These dudes are LITERALLY being auctioned off to the highest bidder.Of course. Y'all go Watch a combine and come back to this thread if y'all disagree
