shut yo ol if a is better then b and b is better then c then a is better the c ass up nikka

Durant is 7 ft with a quick release u gonna compare him to kobe :really::really:

:laff: :laff: :laff:

The question is how well would LeBron adjust when his athleticism declines? Would he still be able to be as effective Kobe in his latter years?

Yes, Lebron games doesn't strictly relies on athleticism, his game probably will be more Magic-like.

I'll say this and be finish with this shyt.

1. If you're still bringing up Player X vs Player Y shyt in 2012, you should probably consider going outside every once in awhile.

2. Lebron is better.

3. Lakers are my favorite team

4. Kobe is still my one of favorite player of all time but its not hard to say that Lebron is the better player.

No he's not a perfect decision maker he's just better than Kobe and that along with superior athleticism, teams actually wanting him to shoot jumpers, and superior durability contribute to Bron shooting higher percentages than Kobe despite having an inferior jumpshot.
Sorry but this is a flemsy piss poor of an excuse for an explanation. What does athleticism have to do with jump shooting? The facts are what they are regardless if you want to acknowledge them or not. Since 07 from 10-15 feet Kobe shoots 42% and Lebron shoots 41%. From 16-23 feet Kobe shoots 41% and Lebron shoots 40%. Conjure up all the excuses that you want but those are the facts. Deal with them.

The more athletic you are and the better driver you are the more likely teams are to play off you and try to entice you to shoot the jumper. Just one of the many facets of basketball that you won't find on a piece of paper. I have watched plenty of Kobe and plenty of Bron. Kobe's jumper is wetter. You can produce all of the contextless stats you wish but that doesn't change that fact. If you don't agree then :manny: but I know what I've seen. So feel free to continue arguing, because you will be doing so alone. Have fun.

WTF?! Did anybody pay attention to the OP? He said at age 27, not 34. Do you dudes not remember 27 yr old Kobe? Lebron IS NOT better than 27 year old Kobe, stop with the advanced stats and let your eyes decide. It's not really all that debatable, Kobe was a fukking machine at 27. His game had 1 flaw and that was shot selection.

Kobe at age 34 is still in the mvp hunt as long as the lakers record gets better, that should tell you all you need to know about who is better. 27 yr old Kobe with this team would be undisputed best player in the league/world right now.

These dudes have no idea wtf they are talking about or forgot what kobe's prime looks like.

You obviously don't know what context means, because the context of those stats is clear. You're the one speaking in vague non specific terms. What does "wetter" mean? How much more "wetter" are you trying to say that Kobe's jumper is? Do you deny that it's streaky? You obviously don't know what a fact is either because you saying that Kobe's jumper is "wetter" is not a fact, it's an opinion. The facts show that he's a slightly better midrange shooter on average, and this was during a time where Lebron's jumper has steadily improved. Lebron's jumper is still getting better. You aren't even taking that into account. His jumper is much more consistent now than it was 5 years ago and you're acting as if it's the same. He's on pace to shoot over 40% from 3 this year.

the facts are also that Kobe takes 4 more jumpers a game from those ranges than Lebron does.

That would be relevant point if this was a "who takes the most midrange jumpers per game" debate. Try to keep up slow poke.

no, its very relevant. Hence why one has a lower shooting percentage.

Then again, your slow ass thinks fast break points shows variety in offensive skills.:whoo:

Running the floor is an offensive skill, Dummy.

Lebron actually shoots the lower percentage as far as midrange jumpers, Dummy.

Lebron is more efficient and a better scorer overall because of his offensive skills like running the court, driving to the hole, moving without the ball, and crashing the boards are better than Kobe's.

And the neg just shows that how feminine you fam boys are when it comes to Kobe. It's ok Fanboy, I'm glad my posts cut you that deep.

I never listen to these nikkas mayne...

Kobe was out there outscoring teams....on like 70% fg :pachaha:

You pair "that Kobe" with Dwight Howard & Pau Gasol and its curtains for the league.
