I'm definitely subbing this thread. I've been dealing with hair bumps on my face the past few years. It first started when I first shaved (never truly shaved until I was 23 lol). My shyt broke the fukk out where I shaved (had went from full beard to goatee). My face can itch from time to time and it truly sucks. I'ma try some of these tips.

What I'd normally do is scrub beforehand, shave up, then aloe vera gel after.

1. If you shave with Wahl, Andis, etc clippers make sure the blade is always sharp. Once it starts dulling you're irritating ur face.

2. Use the Magic Shave lotion in the tube

But either way, a buff puff and African Back Soap once a day to exfoliate will solve the issue 99% of the time and keep ur face bump free as the hair grows back


It sucks tha black folks have this problem tho.

#1 . i dont use a razor or the magic shave.

i use the andis t-outliners. fukking goat. i dry shave, a combo of against/with the grain, and i don't go over the same area a million times. i shave every day. i did sunday, about to do so in a lil bit again.

then i shower immediately after and wash the area i shave with face wash. no irritation pops off. dead skin goes away...

then i use this after i get out the shower:

works great as a method because the hair is the right length to be cut and yet still too short too grow back into the skin.

I can't do shaving gels, they tend to irritate my skin more. I just use a shaving foam/cream and its been working out for me. I usually shave every other day or two.
