If you are black and graduated/attended college, did you attend an HBCU?

You obviously don't know many HBCU graduates. And what discipline did you study?

I'm studying accounting (PWI, Univ. of New Orleans, best school around for accounting)....and I know... (I also graduated from the biggest comm. college in the state for accounting.

Biz Admin Grad(Black Male, SUBR)
Comp Sci Grad(Black Female, SUBR)
one doctor (black male, XULA)
one nurse (Black male, XULA)
2 dentists (still in school, asian girl (XULA), black male(Dillard))
nurse (still in school, black female, XULA)
one actor (black male, Dillard)
one counselor (black female, Dillard)
one person in entertainment/media production (somewhat, black female, Dillard)

I'm all about getting the best edu i can for the least amount of $$...and PWI is what provides that for me...and a LOT of black students go to my school and they are from all over the world...and a lot of them are from the local area (<100 mile radius)

You can't compare private and public colleges bruh. Private colleges aren't funded by the state.

How much is UNO compared to Southern or Grambling?

Southern is cheaper. by about a little less than half. Grambling is slightly cheaper by about a total of $5000 over the course of 4 years. about $500 cheaper per semester.

It was University of Cincinnati for me, location, price were the main factors.

If I had more money I may have, but I was happy there and didn't feel like I was just settling.

:dahell: you mean entire undergrad is less than 5k? That's like one semester at a University in Cali if you're lucky

a full 4 years at one of the most prominent HBCU in my area (Dillard Univ.) is going to run you about $80,000. Xavier Univ. runs about 100k.

at the nearest PWI (Univ. Of New Orleans) where I attend: $35,000-40000.

This does not include summer semesters, and is based on being a commuting student, 15 hrs per semester, finishing in exactly 4 years.

What am I paying an extra $40,000 for? that's 2 brand new "normal" cars!
Dillard got them bytches tho :whoo: I knew their tuition was high but not that high. these chicks are going to owe a lot in student loans. I'm might have to fall back from them :whoa:.

I spent about 10k at LSU this past year
